Don’t be intimidated if it’s your first time in Washington. This bootcamp will offer simple and effective strategies for getting the produce industry’s voice heard and effective review of key issues and tips on making your message memorable for the week’s congressional meetings.

Opening General Session Luncheon & Forum

6:00 – 7:30 pm Celebrate Fresh Opening Reception on Capitol Hill

The center of the action is at the Rayburn Courtyard in the Rayburn House Office Building for the Celebrate Fresh Opening Reception! Take pride as our industry shares the bounty of our production with leaders on Capitol Hill as we advance our industry’s impact and message forward to key Members of Congress and their staffs. The freshest reception of the year will bring the Power of Fresh to our VIP customers in the nation’s capital. 

New this year, the Opening Reception, which is one of the most talked about events on Capitol Hill, is expanding the impact of our presence on Capitol Hill by combining the networking power of the Opening Reception with the hands-on experience of the Fresh Festival.

Agricultural challenges continue from the need for a stable, legal workforce to expanding fresh produce access for all Americans. We’ll kick off our conference with an invitation to the Administration’s top agricultural official.

10:15 – 11:45 am Policy Engagement & X-Change Session

Following a joint review of key issues for our Congressional visits, attendees can choose a deeper dive on the topics of greatest interest. 

Noon – 1:30 pm General Session Luncheon

As we prepare for Congressional visits this afternoon, we’ll hear from both Republican and Democratic House of Representatives members who provide their take on the broad business of the House today, and how we can maximize our impact on the issues we care about.

6:30 – 8:30 pm United FreshPAC Reception & Dinner (Separately Ticketed Event)
