  • Finance & Business Management Council
    The Council will discuss business implications from the COVID-19 crisis, including new opportunities related to government programs and long-term changes to company strategies. The Council also plans to discuss technology, employee safety and best practices in HR policy.
  • International Advisory Board
    The Board will discuss the current and future status of border & port operations, as well as developing a program series to help global companies learn about key regulatory and operational activities necessary to do business in the United States.
  • Produce Marketing & Merchandising Council
    The Council will discuss trends and educational topics impacting fresh produce marketing that will set the strategy for the next BrandStorm agenda in early 2021.
  • Supply Chain Logistics Council
    The Council will discuss regulatory, legislative and international challenges and opportunities throughout the supply chain from ports, highways and rail transportation, including a presentation by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration on their efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • Government Relations Council 
    The council will review the current legislative and administrative efforts around COVID-19 relief along with outlining plans for 2021 work plan.
  • Food Safety Council Meeting
    The Council will discuss FDA’s proposed rule on traceability, Ag water, new era of smarter food safety an other regulatory issues. In addition, the council will discuss Cyclospora and preharvest sampling, prioritizing future work around audit-related issues, produce safety misconceptions and foundational topics for new produce safety professionals.

Opening General Session – Advocating for the Fresh Produce Industry
In March when COVID-19 shut down our nation, United Fresh worked to drive new solutions to help the fresh produce industry keep the supply chain moving, and find financial relief for companies devastated by the crisis. Today, the produce industry is never more instrumental in feeding the world, and more than $5.5 billion in government funding has been invested in supporting our industry. Join us as we share how our work together continues to serve consumers and the industry in our most trying times.
