United Fresh Food Safety Trainings In Q1 2018

Listeria Workshop in Miami, FL: January 31 – February 1, 2018
Designed specifically for the produce industry, this workshop includes: general sessions on sanitary design, sanitation best practices, and environmental monitoring with breakout sessions, panel discussions, case studies and much more! There will also be a networking reception event on the first night of the event and will feature table top displays from various industry exhibitors. Learn more.

Preventive Controls for Human Food Qualified Individual (PCQI) Training in Salinas, CA: March 26, 2018
The Preventive Controls for Human Food Regulation requires that certain activities must be completed by a “preventive controls qualified individual” who has “successfully completed training in the development and application of risk-based preventive controls.” This course developed by the Food Safety Preventive Controls Alliance (FSPCA) is the “standardized curriculum” recognized by FDA.The FSPCA blended PCQI course offered by United Fresh consists of two parts:

  • Part 1 will be done online on your own with the IFPTI online training portal and requires 8-12 hours of work + optional webinars to supplement the course from United Fresh.
  • Part 2 will be a required, one-day, in-person training.

Recall Ready Workshop in Salinas, CA: March 27, 2018
This hands-on training helps you and your staff understand the fundamentals of a product recall, as well as your rights and responsibilities, the role of the FDA, how to limit your liability, and how to manage customer expectations.
