Preventive Controls for Human Food Qualified Individual (PCQI) Training in Salinas, CA: March 26, 2018
The Preventive Controls for Human Food Regulation requires that certain activities must be completed by a “preventive controls qualified individual” who has “successfully completed training in the development and application of risk-based preventive controls.” This course developed by the Food Safety Preventive Controls Alliance (FSPCA) is the “standardized curriculum” recognized by FDA.The FSPCA blended PCQI course offered by United Fresh consists of two parts:
- Part 1 will be done online on your own with the IFPTI online training portal and requires 8-12 hours of work + optional webinars to supplement the course from United Fresh.
- Part 2 will be a required, one-day, in-person training.
