United Fresh Council Awards
Submit a Nomination Today for United Fresh’s Council Awards!
New this year, United Fresh will honor five individuals for their outstanding work in sharing their expertise in different areas serving our produce industry. The honorees will be recognized on Tuesday, June 11 from the Main Stage during the United Fresh 2019 Convention & Expo.
Awards will be presented in areas represented by United Fresh Expert Advisory Councils.

Finance & Business Management:
This award will honor an individual who is focused on business issues impacting their company, such as financial and strategic business planning, family business and estate transfer, financing and investment, human resources issues such as insurance and health care, and other critical business functions.
Food Safety & Technology:
This award will honor an individual who represents the strongest technical resource to the fresh produce industry. They’re versed in all significant issues affecting the industry, such as food safety, quality, microbiology, research, education, audit standards and practices, and regulation.
This award will honor an individual who provides leadership and insight on many public policy issues that confront the fresh produce industry and is active in grassroots and political education activities on issues including immigration reform, nutrition policy, farm bill legislation, food safety policy initiatives, and country of origin labeling requirements.
Produce Marketing & Merchandising:
This award will honor an individual who shows exemplary leadership and innovation in marketing and merchandising produce directly to consumers, bringing together key partners across the supply chain to develop relationships and business opportunities that advance fresh produce consumption.
Supply Chain Logistics:
This award will honor an individual who shows leadership in supply chain management including transportation, logistics and new technologies enabling better traceability, product quality control, cold chain management and more. They are instrumental in developing solutions within their business and the boarder supply chain to address common challenges and advance the sophistication of supply chain logistics in the fresh produce industry.
