A strong United FreshPAC is extremely important to our industry and is made directly with personal funds for those that are eligible. But we also recognize some individuals may want to support the event with corporate funds, this is a new option and may be done by supporting the United Fresh Political Action Fund.

By pooling our personal financial resources, the produce industry can make a difference in key campaigns across the country.

Whether it is bringing industry members to our nation’s Capital to advocate on industry issues, developing field tours for legislators and regulators to farms and produce facilities, providing easy to use technology to contact your elected officials, producing important briefing materials and analysis of key legislative or regulatory actions, the Produce Action Fund will help drive important industry activities that have returned proven successful results on major government relations initiatives. More than 200 industry leaders will gather with Key Members of Congress for a special reception while enjoying a great night of networking.

We will be joined by House Agriculture Committee and Transportation & Infrastructure Committee Member, Congressman Rodney Davis of R-IL. Representative Davis has been extremely active in the Congressional Problem Solvers – No Labels caucus working around the nation to usher in a new era of focused bipartisan problem solving in American politics. He is a seasoned political campaign veteran, with the connections and muscle to get noticed, along with an eager young go-getter attitude that is determined to make a difference. As a caucus member who is here to shake up the system and compel his fellow national leaders to get to business of solving the problems facing the nation, we are sure to have a great discussion looking forward.
