The United Fresh Produce Association Political Action Committee (United FreshPAC) is an opportunity for the produce industry to help elect, and re-elect pro-produce candidates. 100% of United FreshPAC funds support Members of Congress who support important issues facing the fresh fruit and vegetable industry.
Why We Need Prior Authorization:
Prior authorization is required by the Federal Elections Commission (FEC) to allow United FreshPAC to include: the administrative, managerial, and executive personnel, employed by the organization and members of United Fresh, in the political process through personal contributions. FEC requires separate and specific consent for each year. United FreshPAC participation may also include member organizations shareholders, retirees, and family members. Corporations may grant prior authorization to only one trade association per calendar year.
Individual vs. Company Authorization:
Prior authorization can be done in two ways either individual or at the company level.
Individual: An individual may authorize themselves at any time to begin receiving United FreshPAC information. Click here to Join the Team!
Company: Management of a company may choose to authorize their company, United FreshPAC will then be able to contact salaried personal of that company.
