Washington, DC (February 5, 2008) - The United Fresh Produce Executive Development Program on March 9-14 at Cornell University’s Statler Hotel and Executive Conference is sold out for the second straight year and names are now being accepted for the waiting list. This weeklong program designed specifically for produce industry executives provides the knowledge to successfully navigate today’s business challenges.

The Executive Development Progam, created in partnership with the Cornell University Food Industry Management Program is marked as an MBA-level course in Produce. It is an intensive educational journey for executives to maximize strategic, leadership and tactical skills from Cornell’s top instructors through direct application.

“The program has reached its maximum capacity at 40 people, but we are still accepting names for the waiting list,” said Victoria Backer of the United Fresh Research & Education Foundation. “We encourage anyone who was thinking about attending to call us and have their name put on the waiting list.”

The Program includes all classroom sessions and materials, tours, lunches, several special dinners, completion certificate, group photo and 5 nights lodging at The Statler Hotel.
