(Washington, DC) - When United Fresh returns to Las Vegas after 23 years, attendees will find a city with a new style, new glamour, and a welcome mat for convention goers unlike anything produce industry attendees find in any other city.

Today, Las Vegas is the #1 convention city in the world, drawing more than 4.5 million convention attendees a year to combine business and pleasure in what has become an entertainment center for both families with children and those leaning toward late-night pursuits. The old days of smoky gambling halls have given way to 5,000-room mega-hotels that line the Las Vegas strip, sparkling shopping venues for every budget and taste, and the finest dining experiences that rival any world capital. One thing that hasn’t changed from the “old Vegas” is the world-class entertainment. From Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and the Rat Pack, to Jay Leno, Celine Deion, and Elton John, Vegas is still a mecca for the hottest celebrities around.

From Mandalay Bay Convention Center, home of United FreshTech and United Fresh Marketplace expos, to the Bally’s/Paris hotels, the United Fresh convention headquarters and the site for the opening, poolside party, you’ll never be far from fun or business. And if this is your first time visiting Las Vegas, you can expect a once-in-a-life time experience. See a glimpse of what you are in for in this video.

Visit the Las Vegas Tourism Bureau for more information, including event performance times, show tickets and more! The United Fresh, Las Vegas convention will be held May 4-7, 2008 in Las Vegas.
