The United Fresh Research & Education Foundation is offering a new, hands-on educational course called "Training for a Recall, Communicating Under Fire," This two-day training program will help you and your product recall team understand the fundamentals of a product recall, including your rights and responsibilities, the role of the FDA, the importance of traceability, and how to limit your liability and manage customer expectations. In addition, you'll take an in-depth look at how to build a communication plan for a product recall, and how to effectively communicate to the industry, customers, consumers and the media. Following this two-day training course, United Fresh is also offering a half-day media training course that will teach you how to deliver your messages while being interviewed on camera. Both courses will be offered November 8-10 in Baltimore, MD and again February 28-March 1 in San Francisco, CA. Registration for the two-day recall-communication course is $895 (members) or $1195 (non-members); registration for the media training course is $995 (members) or $1295 (non-members). Register for both courses at the discounted rate of $1695 (members-only).
