Secretary of Agriculture to Deliver Opening Keynote Address at WPPC

U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Mike Johanns will deliver the opening keynote address Thursday, September 13 during the Washington Public Policy Conference in Washington, D.C. During his presentation, Secretary Johanns will share his insights into the future of the 2007 Farm Bill and the Administration's position on critical industry issues, such as immigration reform and nutrition policy. Following Secretary Johanns, American Vegetable Grower Magazine will present the Grower Achievement Award, sponsored by Syngenta Seeds/ROGERS Brand. The Washington Public Policy Conference is the largest produce industry event in the nation's capital.
