USDA Seeks Nominees for Industry Advisory Committee

The U.S. Department of Agriculture continues to seek nominations for the 2007-2009 Fruit and Vegetable Industry Advisory Committee. The committee, which provides ongoing advice and counsel from the industry to the Secretary of Agriculture, will consist of up to 25 representatives from all sectors of the industry. Nominations for this important committee must be received by July 19 with the panel currently scheduled to begin work in late 2007. Any industry member interested in serving should apply directly as instructed in the USDA notice.
