This week the United States Department of Agriculture's Economic Research Service (ERS) published its bimonthly Vegetables and Melons Outlook report, which provides the latest available commodity information and forecasts the effects of changing market conditions in the U.S. vegetable and melon sector. The June 2007 Outlook Report, features sweet potatoes, but includes information about current pricing trends, trade data, and production volumes for a variety of fresh vegetables, melons, processing vegetables, potatoes, sweet potatoes, mushrooms, dry edible beans peas and lentils.
