"Salute to Leadership" Raffle to Benefit Foundation

The United Fresh Leadership Alumni Organization is spearheading the 3rd annual "Salute to Leadership Raffle" to benefit the United Fresh Research & Education Foundation. This year's raffle prizes include a grand prize of $25,000 cash, as well as a 37" Flat Panel LCD HDTV and two round-trip tickets to Las Vegas. Tickets for the raffle are just $100 and there is no limit to the number you can buy. The raffle drawing will take place at 3:00 p.m. at the Tuesday afternoon Happy Hour at the 2007 United Fresh Marketplace show in Chicago. "This is a fun and easy way to support a great cause," said Chris Puentes, Chairman of the Alumni Organization Board of Directors. "I invite everyone to buy a ticket today!" All proceeds from the raffle support the activities of the Foundation, which offers specialized programs to meet members' needs in educational training, leadership development, food safety outreach, and industry research.
