All Members Invited to April 10 Town Hall Meeting in Salinas

All interested industry members are invited to attend a Town Hall meeting in Salinas, CA on Tuesday, April 10, to learn more about the recently formalized California Leafy Greens Agreement and industry efforts to address leafy greens and broader food safety measures. The meeting will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Salinas Community Center, 940 N. Main Street. United Fresh Produce Association is joining with the Leafy Greens Agreement Board, PMA, Western Growers, Grower Shipper Association of Central California, and the California Farm Bureau to explain how the overall agreement will work, the scientific and technical standards adopted by the Board for leafy greens production, the program's audit procedures, and review national food safety efforts and food safety matters including scientific, regulatory, legislative and communications activities.
