United Fresh Participates in Mid-Atlantic Produce Industry Conference

United Fresh Vice President of Marketing and Industry Relations Amy Philpott spoke at the Mid-Atlantic Fruit and Vegetable Conference in Hershey, Penn. Philpott and three other panel participants spoke about how the recent E. coli outbreak and recent food safety proposals could impact Mid-Atlantic growers and shippers. "This was a great opportunity to invite people to get involved and provide feedback and input into the process for federal, mandatory oversight," said Philpott.
