The Government Relations Council is focused on setting public policy priorities, debating and fully exploring government-related issues, and recommending specific policies. The council has program responsibility for the Washington Public Policy Conference, grassroots activities, political education and field tours, and general government-related programs, such as immigration reform, the Fruit and Vegetable Snack Program, WIC reform, country of origin labeling, Specialty Crop Bill, Farm Bill provisions, and more.
